Very briefly:
. Set 57600 bps or 115200 bps as the interface speed on your PC
and on your modem and "fix" it.
. Use RTS/CTS flow control.
. Enable error correction and compression in the modem.
For fast Kermit file transfers, use a fairly big window size and packet
size. Full details in the FAQ.
